in communicating with the Swiss Post Office, it has been

assumed that this alteration will also be made.

I am to add that, while in the mails now received

from Hong Kong letters and printed papers are observed

to be prepaid in accordance with the new equivalents,

that is to say, 10 cents and 2 cents the oz. each,

postcards bear a stamp of the value of 3 cents. For

this stamp one representing 4 cents will of course now

have to be substituted; and a communication to this effect

has been addressed to the Hong Kong Post Office.

I am,

Sir,

Your obedient Servant,
